WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR BUSINESS BOOK REVIEW

The novel, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, by Dan Millman, is a worthy book of life-lessons designed to help others in finding out how to live.

Peaceful Warrior

Peaceful Warrior

Millman’s book is an excellent self-development saga that business entrepreneurs  who seek to develop their professional skills and grow in their personal  development would richly benefit from.

Taking his own life experiences of college, wise mentoring, World Trampoline Championships, and intense achievements, Dan weaves the truths of learning what it means to be a personal warrior through adventure, life experiences, and enjoying a simple awakened life.

I took notes of over 50 truths, and then I simply quit counting, because the riches were woven throughout the book!  The Way of the Peaceful Warrior is packed with life changing thoughts to provoke and prod you in your own warrior growth.

Below is a sampling of what author Dan Millman shared that I enjoyed (and my comments):

“The warrior acts (create life spontaneously); the fool reacts (irritable, insulted, pride).   (The life you create is  determined by your thoughts, emotions, past).”

“Change your mind.”

“Take responsibility for your life; as your eyes open, you’ll see that your state of health, happiness and every circumstance of your life has been in large part arranged by you. Consciously, or unconsciously.”

“Be aware. ”
Addictions are not necessarily empowerments; they help you avoid the fundamental source of your suffering.”

“You must understand where your thoughts come from, how they arise in the first place.”

“Resistance causes racing thoughts; the thoughts that assail you are created by you.”

“Silence is the warrior’s art; meditation is his sword…it cuts through illusions.”

“You need a map to see the whole terrain.”

“I’ve been thinking…”    Let it go.   ” Let the thinking thoughts go.”

“You must have the will to make the journey.”

“It’s not your bad habits that count, but your good ones.”

“Small changes begin to add up in your life.”

“A person asks you to do your best and you don’t….We understand when you don’t accomplish what you set out to do…but do YOU understand what has happened?”

“When bad things happen, cry. “  ” Let feelings flow, then let them go. ”   “In difficult times it demonstrates how to make peace with emotion.”

“The warrior is, as the warrior does.”

“The sad thing is that most people really don’t live at all.”

“Better to live until you die. “  (Don’t be afraid, so that you end up living less.)

…and there is more, more and more in this book!

A classic tale that speaks to the warrior within you as you read this book:  lessons and wisdom for each of us to live and grow thereby.   Whether you are a business professional, internet network marketer,  are in MLM, direct sales, or own a franchise….it doesn’t matter…

Warrior…I recommend you read this book for your personal growth, business, and enjoyment.
